Girls,FYI, this will be the shoes we're getting for you.
As you can see, the heels are not very high. In fact it is not high at all so you people can anchor your voices well.
We'll be letting you all try out the samples on Friday so try to attend practice ok :)

Choir,
I'm sure many of you are feeling upset and disappointed with the performance ytd.
So, it's really time we put in much much much more effort into our singing.
From now on, i hope that you guys, especially th Sec Ones, will stop seeing choir practices as merely a time and place for you people to play and fool around. It has never been th case in this choir. Yes, there are play times for us but when it's time to work hard, you're supposed to put in effort into your singing and etc.
Like what Mr Toh said, he really loves this choir a lot. If you don't feel his love yet, just visit his blog and look for all his posts about us. Just put yourself into his shoes, would you want to love a choir who only knows how to play but doesn't know how to appreciate music, much less make good music? If that's the case, i can only say that this is simply not AHS Choir that Mr Toh & all our seniors are familiar with.
4 more months to SYF. If you are easily satisfied with a bronze or silver that we do not deserve at all. By all means, continue to play and slack around.
It's time to wake up, choir.

Hi Choir!
The Choral Fest performance is tmr!! Here is the general outline for tmr's schedule:
- Prac starts at 9.30am sharp (pls dont be late!)
- Sectionals
- Mr Toh will be coming from 11.30 to 1.30pm(tentative timing)
- Lunch
- More Practice
- The bus will leave for VCH at about 5+
- Preparation
- Concert starts at 7.30pm (we're the 3rd choir performing)
Things to Bring:
For girls:
1. Court shoes
2. Make up such as:
- foundation
- blusher
- Lipstick/Lipgloss
- Eye shadow (preferably blue,silver,purple or colours that are easily visible)
* Girls with long hair-tie a ponytail (you might be required to tie a bun later on)
* If you brought your costume home,remember to bring it.

For guys:
1. White collared Shirt
2. Dark Blue Tie
3. Long Black Pants
4. Black Socks
5. Black Shoes
Pls take note that we might not have time for dinner due to the tight schedule tmr.

Hey Choir! (Sorry for pushing down both Christopher's and Ada's posts so pls continue scrolling down to read theirs which I think is more important)
Firstly just a reminder that there will be choir prac on Tuesday,9 Dec at 8.30am. Girls pls remember to bring $70 for costume and your travel document stuff. There are more details of all this in ada's post and christopher's post respectively.
Secondly Thur 11Dec,practice starts at 1pm most probably. The bus will leave school at 5.30pm. Dinner will be provided at performance venue(: yup thats all

Hey Choir!
(Sorry for pushing Ada's post down, so please continue reading Ada's post after mine)
Choir members who went overseas during this year end holiday are to produce materials as evidence to show that they have went overseas. This is for Mr Tan to be aware and keep track of the attendance of the choir
Such materials can be:
1) Photocopied copy of passport with stamps of destination
2) Photocopied copy of boarding Pass with YOUR name
3) Photocopied copy of any other travel documents, such as receipt of overseas trip, with YOUR name.
Specifications:
- The photocopied copy of passport must include the stamp chops of BOTH date of departure and arrival
- It can be scanned via your own scanner or photocopied.
- Photo taken with camera/camera phone are not allowed.
- Please do not send your documents via email.
DEADLINE FOR ALL OVERSEAS MATERIAL: 11th December

This is a super last minute update on the costumes so please help disseminate the information as quickly as you will.
There are some things that I didn't mention to y'all because everyone was so busy rushing off after choir. Yes, so the poor me didn't get to brief the the girls about what's to happen on Thursday.
Anyway, here's the latest updates.
GIRLS -
1. Girls are to bring $70 for the costume on Tuesday's practice (9th Dec); the breakdown is as such:
Gown -$65, sash - $5.
Gowns and sashes will be given out on Tuesday, so please bring your money. If I don't receive the money, you will have no costume. And no costume means you're not performing. As simple as this.
2. For this performance we will be wearing the black court shoes.
For Sec One girls, please borrow the shoes from someone because this will be the only time AHchoir will be wearing these black shoes again. The reason for the black court shoes this time round is because no pretty, stable silver heels were found in time, plus many many girls are complaining about the height. I have an extra pair (size 6) so first-come-first-serve, you may contact me for it.
For senior girls, please use the same pair of black court shoes. If for whatever reason you have disposed of your shoes, go borrow a pair.
All Sec One girls are to bring their black court shoes for checking on Tuesday, and seniors who are unsure about their shoes please bring them as well.
3. I will brief everyone about hairstyles and such on the next practice.
We will have a complete(?) change from our previous images. Nothing really drastic, just that I expect a lot of whining from the majority.
That's all for girls. Now guys listen up:
GUYS -
On Tuesday you are expected to bring all these things by hook or by crook.
1. Long-sleeved white shirt.
It would be preferred if you borrow from someone your own size, because Mr Toh's suggestion was to change the guys' images completely. I will look into that after the concert, so probably you may have to fork out more money to get blazers.
2. Midnight blue tie
Normal tie size, not skinny ties. Dark blue, close to black.
3. Long black pants
Just to clarify, the pants must not be of denim material. It must cover your ankles when your black court shoes are worn.
4. Black court shoes
Like I said, these shoes have no laces -.- Most people get these shoes from Bata so you can go there to look for them.
