Hello choir. I'm not going to give a speech about how we should all kowtow to your seniors and give your utmost respect to them. Well, since I'm a Sec Four, and I'm kinda going to retire soon, I just thought I'll post here for the first time.
Erm, well, somebody told me to post this up here instead of letting it rot at my own blog. I think it was Christopher. Or was it Christabel? Anyways, this is the translation of Ave Maria. I guess we should all know what we're singing about, right? Or were you all singing words in an alien tongue that you all didn't understand all this time?
So I hope this thingy will help in bringing out some of the magic and stuff.
Ave Maria
Ave Maria
Hail Mary
gratia plena, Dominus tecum
full of grace, the Lord is with you
Benedicta tu in mulieribus
Blessed are you among women
et benedictus fructus ventris tui Jesus
and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus
Sancta Maria, Mater Dei
Holy Mary, Mother of God
ora pro nobis peccatoribus
pray for us sinners
nunc et in hora mortis nostrae
now, and in the hour of death
Ave....
Hail....
